Microsoft MVP Award

I arrived back in Geneva on Thursday night, after spending a couple of days in Belgium attending Techdays 10. I had a blast, and some of the highlights for me were:

  • The presentation by my good friend Laurent Bugnion entitled A day in the life of a WPF/SL. Very cool.
  • I had the opportunity to ask Anders Hejlsberg about the new .NET 4.0 default parameter feature.
  • I attended a presentation on Moles. Looking forward to using that. One can replace any .NET property or method with a delegate!
  • Scott Hanselman’s keynote on day two was just so entertaining. Loved it.

All in all, it was a terrific event.

To top it all off, I discovered my MVP award from Microsoft waiting for me when I arrived home! MVP profile

CodeProject MVP 2010

clock January 12, 2010 11:54 by author Daniel Vaughan

CodeProject MVPI usually hear about big community news from the WPF Disciples group. Somehow everything gets announced there. Today was no different when I read the announcement and congratulations for receiving the CodeProject MVP Award for 2010. That's fantastic news for me, as it is a *huge* honour. I send out my congratulations to Sacha Barber, Pete O'Hanlon, Josh Smith, and to the other 40 people awarded this year. Not bad for a site with over 6.5 million members.

CodeProject is a way of life for many developers, including myself. Thank you CodeProject.
